Administrative history
  • ┆Michael Huxley was a long serving member of staff associated with performing arts and dance. Specialising in early 20th century modern dance history along with dance and pedagogy in higher education, he became course leader for Performing Arts in 1993. He retired in 2018. Throughout his career he collected the various papers created by the dance department along with his fellow Lecturer Jayne Stevens who has also contributed to the papers in this collection. The Dance and Performing Arts courses were originally taught at the Scraptoft campus but were relocated to the city campus when the PACE building was completed in 2007. Courses are still taught there today.
